I’m on holiday at the moment, so I don’t have a lot of time to write, but I just had to share this awesome news with you all: The Box of Demons has made it to the shortlist stage of the Write Now competition, alongside The Game by Clare Sandling, Hinterland by Lorna Fergusson and The Marionette by Martin Stewart.

I’d like to thank all the independent book shops involved in judging the competition (particularly the ones who voted for my book). It’s an honour to have passionate booksellers supporting The Box of Demons and I can’t thank them enough for the confidence it has given me.

I’ll blog more details on the next stage of the competition when I have them (and if I’m allowed to share them).

Also, in another personal triumph, I did this whole blog post on my phone. This is a significant step forward in my blogging career. I might make a blogger out of myself yet.
